The eLab Client is a system for acquiring experimental data from instruments in laboratories and storing it in the eSciDoc Infrastructure. It was initially developed in the BW-eLabs project, funded by the Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg (MWK), Germany. Even though the project ended end of 2011, we decided to further maintain and develop the system.
The eLab Client consists of an application, two services, a workflow, and a set of eSciDoc Content Models. The software is available as open source. You will find download links and documentation here:
The workflow is described in Research Data Management in the Lab.
