Release Candidate 1 for eSciDoc Infrastructure Version 1.0
The first release candidate for version 1 of the eSciDoc Infrastructure is now available for download. Major features include- Support for Fedora 3.1
- Fast Filtered Lists
- Support for Shibboleth and LDAP Identity Provider
- Java Client Library
- Searching in Organizational Units
- Ingest Interface for mass ingestion of resources
- Various bug fixes
The RC1 build is feature-complete. Interfaces and data structures of this release candidate (and potentially further ones) will not be changed until the final version 1.0 release. This means that you can build your own code on a stable and reliable basis using the release candidates. We will only provide bug fixes for this stable release branch. All ongoing development takes place in the development branch and will not affect the code base of the release candidates and the final version 1.0.
